2021 Ski World Championships: Countdown for the opening of the ticketing
Tickets will be on sale starting from 19thOctober 2020!
On 19th October, right after the first ski races of the season in Sölden, ticketing for the 2021 Ski World Championships will officially open and tickets will be on sale for the public on the official website of the event: cortina2021.com. In addition, fans can already buy on the website their favorite gadgets, hoodies and mascot of the event.
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will take place in Cortina d’Ampezzo from 7th to 21st February 2021: two weeks of men’s and women’s competitions that will bring to the Ampezzo Valley over 600 athletes from 70 nations, all competing to win the 13 World Titles at stake.
In addition, another 6,000 people including experts, volunteers, technicians, athletic trainers, staff and managers will be part of the event. Over 500 million people are expected to watch the races on TV and media from all over the world.
The importance of the event can be measured not only by itself but especially by its positive impact on the territory in terms of infrastructure and improvements: an important legacy for the local community and for the whole mountain system of the region.
Renovations include renewed infrastructure, new ski slopes and lifts, complying with
international racing standards and able to ensure the best experience and

In order to ensure maximum safety to all participants – athletes, coaches, technicians, volunteers, journalists, public – the Organizing Committee of the Event is at constant work monitoring the development of the Covid-19 pandemic nationally and internationally with the collaboration of all relevant institutions: the International and Italian Ski Federations (FIS and FISI), the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Health and Political Authorities.
In addition, new principles and guidelines will be applied to the ski races and event: basic principles of social distancing and use of hand sanitizer and devices of personal protection will be applied, the number of people attending the event will be limited and the public will be managed respecting all appropriate safety standards and criteria.
