Best of the Alps Golf Cup 2020

08 August 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of Cortina’s Best of the Alps Golf Tournament, a race set on a unique golf course surrounded by the beauty of the Ampezzo Dolomites.

Cortina d’Ampezzo is included in the prestigious European association Best of the Alps, an international seal of quality uniting the 13 most traditional and exclusive alpine resorts appreciated for the quality of their services and facilities, admired for their cultural, natural and environmental heritage.

Best of the Alps circuit races are held in the most exclusive tourist locations of the Alps and most spectacular golf courses in the world. On 08 August 2020 Cortina will host the Best of the Alps Golf Cup powered by Audi, celebrating the 10th edition of the circuit race in the unique golf course of the Queen of the Dolomites: a 9-hole golf course, with every hole facing a different mountain of the Ampezzo Valley.

The circuit race consists of a series of tournaments for amateurs, taking place between July and September on some of the most spectacular golf courses in the Alps, in 9 of the destinations part of Best of the Alps: Davos, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Megève, Courmayeur, Grindelwald, Seefeld, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, St. Anton-Lech Zürs, Kitzbühel. The variety of the golf courses and of the imposing and evocative mountain sceneries makes this event unique.

Participants in Cortina will play the 9-holes Texas Scramble format in teams of two people.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Golf Cup, there will be also an overall evaluation: Participants will be able to earn points in each tournament. Thus, the more tournaments played, the greater the chance of winning a prize when the Golf Cup is over.
