Cortina Filming & Photo Policy

With regard to video filming and the production of photographic material, Cortina d’Ampezzo has peculiar characteristics that require compliance with the regulations in force and the obtaining of the necessary authorisations from the competent bodies.

For that purpose, the “Cortina Filming & Photo Policy” – Regulation for Filming and Photographic Production in Cortina d’Ampezzo – was created. The Regulation applies to filming inside monuments and structures both inside and outside, including public spaces, protected areas and private property.

Authorisation is required for filming that:

• Involves the use of a drone;
• Has commercial purposes and requires the occupation of public land for the set and/or technical vehicles within the territory of Cortina d’Ampezzo;
• Requires the occupation of public land for the set and/or technical vehicles within the territory of Cortina d’Ampezzo;
• Has commercial purposes and concerns the cultural, architectural, or natural heritage of Cortina, even if it does not involve the occupation of public land.
